Funding Provision

The eligibility criteria for New Working Parents Funding can be found on the government’s Best Start in Life website. It requires that both parents must be working and neither earning more than £100k per annum.

Early Years Funding covers any child of eligible parents from 9 months until 3 years, from the start of the next school term, i.e. from 1st January, April or September after they have turned 9 months. From 3 - 5 years, parents can apply for 15 hours of Universal Funding, which is available for all parents regardless of income.

Funding is applied termly, but as our parents pay monthly we spread the funding across the year. At Oakfield we have made the decision to accept up to 15 hours only (not 30 hours) to ensure we stay financially viable.
